pros:
- tall resolution for the price
- very incandescent - I can project onto a wall honest next to a mammoth window on a sunny day, and it's unexcited visible when on pudgy power
- very collected on the "grievous" power mode, which is unruffled very lustrous (its what I almost always utilize)
- easy to utilize menu and remote
- focus works over a gargantuan range of projection distances
- LCD means no 'rainbow' finish, good to DLP projection
Just the one, notable con:
while it is in principle compatible with 480p, 720p, 1080i,
it doesn't have the required plugs at the assist (component video)
Epson sells an adaptor cable for ~$100, so that you can connect a HDTV or EDTV (480p) input through a VGA trot (what you'd normally consume for a computer), but this adaptor is honest point-to-point wiring, you can assume one elsewhere for very cheap: you need a
"HD15 (VGA) Male to RCA x 3 Female" adaptor
Don't pay more than $10
If it came with that adaptor, or the proper plugs, the projector would certainly receive 5 stars.
This projector offers very great performance, desirable easy set-up and an easy to carry package. There are all the inputs you could want, except for HD video displays. The USB port reveal is estimable only for aloof pictures; using it for video will induce your audience to either hover or give up watching. Exhaust the VGA or S-video inputs for video.
There is no S-video cable provided, a minor challenge.
It was up and operating 30 seconds after the box was unpacked.
The cloth carry bag is handy, but I would steal objective a bit more padding.
So far everything is working enormous. All the features and hasty originate guide helped me to be up and running with my projector very snappily. This Epson comes with a astronomical warranty and service.
